Coffin Canvas

Earlier last year I stretched myself a coffin shaped canvas and did a painting on it for my friend Alison Woodward! I used regular pre-cut stretcher bars and just finangled some corner bracing with various hardware bits to create the wider angles.

Here's a painting I did late last year! It is mostly acrylic on paper board, original is 16x20".
It is framed and for sale, and prints are available up to 16x20" for now.

House on a hill

Here's a drawing! I worked on it a bit more after this but it still isn't done yet.
I used a brush pen with Koh-i-noor ink on Canson Montval paper. About 9x12"ish

HELLO AGAIN

 Oh, my goodness! It's been so long! I'm sorry.
 I got really bad at doing everything else while I was busy finishing school, but now I graduated for real!
 So hopefully I can post here more often.
 Right now I'm busy working on finishing old projects and starting new ones. I just got an awesome new computer than can do anything and I'm working on figuring it out. I'm also working on making my bike look awesome and then putting it back together. And I'm going to make SO MUCH ART!

I spent most of the evening making new handlebar grips for my bike out of leather and buttons. My hands hurt now but they turned out pretty alright!

Here is something I finished recently but haven't varnished yet! It's acrylic on a 6x8x1.5" wood cradled panel. It was a project I did for a class I was taking last semester called 'Black Holes and Other Transformations of Energy'...

It's been too long

 Hey everyone!
  I'm sorry for the long absence. I've been super busy but not really with making art. But I'm starting to work on that again now! I hope I didn't forget how.
  I got a real job and it's really great, I work at Opus in downtown Vancouver which is an awesome art supply store where I have always shopped and gotten my prints made! I also do custom framing and digital printing there too, so now all of my prints are printed by me too... cool?
 It's a lot like working in a candy store. Now I have a lot of paint and I need to DO SOMETHING WITH IT
 I also have been working on finishing my BFA at Emily Carr (ALMOST DONE) and got a new kitten and a gentleman friend that occupy a lot of my time. They are both adorable and sweet. I got a magic cat that nobody is allergic to and she keeps the mice away AT LAST. Winter in an attic is a lot better with a kitty instead of mice.
 I will try to post more because I have so many things. For now I have to survive the holidays.

I'm finally done this drawing for my Decorative Illustration final crit tomorrow morning, and after days of mopping my watering eyeballs and cleaning lizard poop off of my drawing I am thrilled to be finished.

New digs and bracelets

  I recently moved and am gettin all settled in my awesome new place, I'm super excited to have new work spaces and my own room with doors and walls and all that stuff we take for granted.
I'm still getting organized but here are some sneaky peeks of my room, which is in the attic of a big old house and is pink with stripes because I'm an adult and I painted it.

Farewell: first 8 pages

Hello!
Now my semester is over, I finished 8 pages of the story I'm working on and polished them up all shiny. Here they are, I'll hopefully have it available in a cheap zine format before I complete the rest as a finished book!
This probably won't be the cover but it's temporary, I recycled another piece for now.
